Bali

Bali is a magnet for visitors from all over the world. If you want to relax in a tropical beach environment, explore some beautiful natural scenery and discover some of the world's most exotic cultures, then the Island of the Gods is certainly the place to be. There is, however, a section of the island considered the least populated and of course the least visited. That is West Bali. And you can be one of those to uncover this vast expansive section of Bali, on two wheels!

That's right, if you love adventure and have a day to spare, this is the perfect activity for you. You'll definitely enjoy the two hour downhill ride, witnessing small and rustic villages. In addition, there are breathtaking viewpoints, giving you impressive views of the famous black sand beaches. Make sure your camera is fully charged before the trip.

Head out to Belimbing from your hotel. Whichever direction you come from, one thing is certain: you'll pass through some of the island's most spectacular inland countryside scenes. The terraced farms in this area are beautiful and amazingly immaculate. The camera shooting starts now.

Hop on your waiting bike, strap on your helmet and enjoy the ride! The journey will take you to through some amazing sites, including countryside villages where you can stop, have a chat, share your experiences and learn about their lifestyles. You'll also cycle by awesome natural scenery, with ample time to work your camera. And don't forget those lookouts. The view is unbelievable. You just have to be there.

Having worked up an appetite after your scenic West Bali bike ride, you'll stop at Gaja Minah restaurant to refuel. Then transfer to nearby Balian Beach where you can relax on the unspoiled black sands. And if you like horses, an optional riding experience is on offer, taking you across this verybeach and through its small villages.

On the way back, stop to visit Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali's most famous landmarks. Again, your camera will be handy, because it is set on an island, facing the sea and is known to be one of Earth's most picturesque sites, especially during sunset. After your visit continue back toyour hotel or stop for an optional seafood dinner at Melasti in front of the temple.
